Dry Spruce Available!
We are excited to announce the availability of dry spruce firewood! We now have access to a limited supply of fire killed spruce firewood from the Stuart Creek 2 fire that burned during the summer of 2013.
Road construction to this timber sale is scheduled to be completed by early next week with harvest activities to immediately follow. We will publish actual moisture content readings as soon as we begin harvesting.
Prices for this firewood will be the same as for our green birch: $195/cord for logs, $250/cord for rounds and $300/cord for split firewood. Prices include free delivery in the Fairbanks North Star Borough and our full cord guarantee.
To order or for more information, please feel free to message us through our official Facebook page, e-mail WayneHuntertheWoodCutter(at)yahoo(dot)com, or call or text (907)-385-8346.
If you are planning to invest some of your PFD in a *five-cord log truck load of Wayne’s green, 100% birch firewood, feel free to give Wayne a call or text, or message him through this page or via e-mail, to set-up delivery now with payment due on PFD day. The price is $975 for five guaranteed cords. His call or text number is (907)-385-8346, e-mail address WayneHuntertheWoodCutter(at)yahoo(dot)com. Buy now, season yourself, and save money on next winter’s firewood with Wayne Hunter the Wood Cutter, LLC!
*This delivery offer is for five-cord log truck loads only, as we are still catching-up on processed firewood orders. If you would like to go ahead and order processed firewood as a PFD investment, we would be honored to take your order and get it to you around PFD time (we are booked-out on processed until then).
How would you like to build a remote Alaskan cabin *and* be on a national television show about building it? If this sounds like your dream come true or something you’d like to do, let us know!!!
We were contacted yesterday by a woman who is working on producing seasons six and seven of the DIY Network television show “Building Alaska”. They need builders to feature! Here’s what she had to say, “The premise of the program is to track 3 different builders as they build a remote residential home/lodge from start to finish over the prime 6 month building season in Alaska (May-November or thereabouts). There is a monetary incentive to be on the show as well.”
For more information on the show, just click this link http://www.diynetwork.com/shows/building-alaska.
If you need logs to build your dream cabin, look no further than Wayne Hunter the Wood Cutter :)! He has a limited supply of spruce saw/house logs (as seen in the photos below)!
For more information about being on the show and or the logs, give us a call at (907)-488-WHWC (9492), message here through Facebook, or e-mail us at WayneHuntertheWoodCutter@yahoo(dot)com.
Please feel free to share this post with your Alaskan friends or those who dream of coming to Alaska to live the remote living dream!
